Great Hale is a small village located between Sleaford (to the west) and Boston (to the east). It provides an excellent base for visiting the many discoveries waiting for you in the North Kesteven area. This is an area lying in the heart of Lincolnshire, close to the cathedral City of Lincoln. Boston, Spalding, Stamford, Grantham, Sleaford and Newark are all within a 30 minute drive, and easy access to Great Hale can be made from the A17 and the A52.

In the area....

Royal Air Force College Cranwell is 15 minutes away and all the wartime airfields and exhibitions, as well as the operational stations at Coningsby and Waddington, are within easy reach.

The famous 'eight-sailed' working windmill and the railway museum, both in Heckington, are just five minutes away.

In Heckington there are a number of village shops (including a newsagent, a bakery, Co-op and a pharmacist) as well as pubs, medical centre, and a dentist.

Weather forecast
The nearest train station (Heckington) is just a half-mile away. Arrangements can be made to meet trains.
